Kitchen maintenance

High quality surfaces of our kitchens are easily maintained and they are not predisposed for retaining dirt.
To maintain your kitchen in the best shape as long as possible, you should clean it correctly on regular basis.

Wooden, lacquer and veneer surfaces

Surface working of natural surfaces of kitchen doors is created in several processes of application of stains and lacquers. The outer protective layer is made by highly resistant transparent lacquer.
By the natural materials and lacquers always proceed to the elimination of dirt as soon as possible, not to  allow the dirt to penetrate into the surface’s pores. Then it is not needed to use any detergents. You can use soft cloth or very delicate small brush to eliminate the dirt. In general we do not recommend using steam because the dampness together with the high temperature could damage the material. We do not recommend also exposing materials to a long influence of dampness which would penetrate into the joints and technological gaps.

Synthetic surfaces, glasses and foils

Synthetic surfaces of our parts are created by high quality melamine resin (on a premium   chipboard material) or a polymer foil in connection with MDF board.
By the glasses (security ones) and synthetic surfaces use commonly available in water soluble detergents and a sof cloth. We do not recommend to use abrasive detergents, sanitary detergents, not even detergents with content of mechanical or chemical aggressive agents (detergents containing chlorine, sal ammoniac, thinners and other detergents having in a name Tri or Tetra ...).

Countertops

Countertops have front side furnished by thermal and mechanical resistant synthetic layer. Even though it can not be ruled out its damage i.e. by too high temperature (pots, roasting pan) or by sharp or hard objects (knives, peelers, ...). We do recommend to always use chopping board as a pad. Intense dirt (old fat dirt, colour of marker, ...) can be eliminated well by alcohol, glass cleanser, petrol cleanser and a delicate small brush. Dried dirts are not allowed to be eliminated by scrapping off. Please use cloth or delicate brush (the best with a natural hair) in combination with some from the above mentioned detergents.

Socle

Due to simple construction it is easy to dismantle and to clean the socle laths. Socle legs are created from massive and resistant polystyrole. Dirt can be eliminated by weak solution of detergent in a lukewarm water. We do recommend to use delicate small brush or cloth. Do not forget to wipe all the area by damp cloth soaked in a clean water at the end and to dry well the socle immediately.

Plastic parts

Dressers, bread bin, boxes, containers, and other plastic parts are created from high quality thermoplastic. Always use soft cloth, lukewarm water and detergent non-aggressive detergents for cleaning.

Parts from massive wood

Despite its high quality processing and a surface working of parts from massive wood, these parts  are sensitive for climatic changes in environment, in which is it is present. Wood is a natural  material, that cannot be excluded the changes in colour due to the long-term impact of light or lighting by. An ideal environment for natural materials is humidity of 45-70% and regular room temperature. We do recommend to assure ventilating the room i.e. by the extractor.

Hinges – metal mounting and tip mounting

Top technic which we use in our kitchens as a standard is practically maintenance-free. We recommend to oil finely once a year with the oil for sewing machines (no animal fats) only the particularly strained
hinges. System of drawers and pull out trays cannot be oiled!

Dish washers

Lower part of countertop in the place above the dish washer is furnished by foil or lath which is being delivered together with the appliance. Pay attention to the period for drying the machine before its opening
which is recommended by the producer. Then open the dish washer fully, so that the rest of the dampness would leak in a sufficient area and not only by a narrow gap under the countertop.

Cooling and freezing machines

The magnetic strip on the doors assures the sealing of the appliance.  Rime inside of the appliance or mist of the furniture signalizes probable non-sealing of closing. Please check out the position of the  appliance in the cabinet and alternatively execute new locking of hinges and doors.

Cookers/ovens

The warmth coming of baking is conducted away through the front part of appliance. During the active usages of the appliance please have the doors either totally opened or totally closed. Never leave the doors slightly open in a long term, otherwise there is a concentration of temperature in a front part and under the countertop and it can damage it or damage the neigbouring cabinets/drawers.

Cookers, coffee machines and other small appliances

Never place the appliances which in consequence of its activity produce steam, close under furniture  (cabinets, boards, decoration ramps), as the coming up steam could cause a damage of furniture.
Appliances producing increased amount of warmth also in a downwards direction (electric-cookers) are recommended to be underlaid by a non-flammable pad.
